Euroweenie dept.

All together now: You can't make this stuff up.

UPDATE: William Sjostrom takes issue with my use of the phrase "Euroweenie." He points out that the Irish Labour Party is about as representative of the Irish polity as Cynthia McKinney is of the US. Fair enough. But I didn't call Ireland a "weenie nation," and my flippant use of the phrase could be assumed to refer to individuals.

But given Ireland's fudging with the UN antisemitism resolution it promised to support, maybe it is a Euroweenie nation.
