It's Chicago 1968 all over again
Dry run? Dry run for this weekend? After all, after today's ruling it would be easy to do it again. I don't think the ruling will stand.This is reassuring:
the decision only means that "random searches" can't be performed without some obvious presence of threat (cause to search randomly, like an explosion that's taken place prior to, or thereabouts), but that the decision DOES NOT MEAN that the police can't search whoever they decide they should, based upon an individual law enforcement's suspicions.The mayor plans to appeal.
