Jews on the Left make decisions
The Burning Man Festival starts Monday, and - recapitulating the hippie vs. SDS split of the late 60s - many counter-culture types are torn about whether to go for utopian vision in Nevada or gritty confrontation in Manhattan.Well, if you are Jewish and heading out for Burning Man, you probably already know about the Black Rock JCC, home to Congregation Bamidbar. If not, check out the schedule of davening and other events.
If you're Jewish and planning to protest in Manhattan, Congregation B'nai Jeshurun - flagship of institutional NYC Leftist Judaism - has a list of events. I'll post more Jewish Leftist events as I find out about them. More links on the anti-RNC goings on here.
