The conscience of the blogosphere
I provoked Eric's screed about the intellectually lazy political blogosphere, and then urged him to post it, so go read it. Eric lands some accurate blows, although I am not as exercised about this stuff as he is, being too old to be that idealistic and not stuck in Temp Job Hell.(I saw Julia Goren tonight; she was the headline act and Ivan only did 2 songs. About half her jokes were funny, and about a fourth of them were cringemakingly tasteless. She also needs to work on her delivery a bit. I may post something about the smear against libertarians later; meanwhile visit Karol's energetic comment thread on the topic.)
UPDATE: Mary had tee many martoonies. I made good on my threat to popularize Negronis. It needed a bit more citrus . . .
