I didn't drink much last night because I chanted a chapter of the megillah last night, and again this morning at 7:30 AM. So I didn't want to have a hangover. Being a designated leyner has some trade-offs.
UPDATE: A Purim / Good Friday reflection on Terri Schiavo's struggle. Sounds like a cheesy attempt at a strained analogy, but she makes it work.
Kind of a strained connection, but I'm going to put this link here and not in one of the many burgeoning Schiavo entries. "Purim" means "casting lots" (maybe emphasizing how the wheel of fortune reversed itself in that story) (but by God's hidden hand), and Karol was playing a game of chance online tonight.
