Antisemitism watch - what else is new?
Previous entry in this series here.Historian Deborah Lipstadt has the blogging bug:
posting notes and recording impressions of the Poland trip as well as, more recently, the C-SPAN controversy. Until this week, readers were able to post their responses, but she halted that because the site was attracting a number of Holocaust deniers and anti-Semites. Lipstadt didn't want to afford them a platform. The ZOA calls for UC Irvine to investigate intimidation of Jewish students.About blogging she said, "There's always something going on to keep things interesting."
Weird self-hating Jew Israel Shamir (as in Mordecai Vanunu weird) was invited by a Lord Ahmed to give a speech in Britain's House of Lords. I'm not going to try to summarize it, just go read the quotes. (I would file this under more evidence of kowtowing to Islamist extremists.)
Mein Kampf is now popular in Serbia as well as Turkey.
