Tsunami anniversary: only one year
Today is the anniversary of the horrible tsunami disaster of southeast Asia.
We had a huge link roundup last year. And a followup.
Whizbang says it's the only blog which posted tsunami videos last year, which still has all of them up or is still online.
A month ago the NYTimes Magazine had a huge writeup on the rebuilding and remaining devastation, but I can't get to it online right now. But here's a slideshow and an audio-visual presentation.

Some of the folks behind the TsunamiHelp (http://tsunamihelp.blogspot.com) team, the KatrinaHelp (http://katrinahelp.info) team (and from the teams that formed around the other disasters over this year) have coelesced into the WorldWideHelp Group (groups.google.com/group/worldwidehelp).
And they're observing the week ahead as Disaster Remembrance Week, to get the world's attention back to the victims and survivors of those disasters. Perhaps you'd care to take a look, and if you think it's worthwhile, pass the word?
