I'm offended . . . .
. . . . at violent intimidation and emotional blackmail. I'm offended at grossly bigoted and false depictions of my people, which assign to us the characteristics of those who tried to eliminate us. I'm offended that Muslims built not one, but two mosques on top of the ruins of my people's holiest site, and wantonly destroyed ancient cultural artifacts of other peoples. I'm offended at a racist slavery of Africans that began in the 10th century and continues today.
I could go on, right?
There is value to holding the moral high ground. We should not stoop to their level. We should hold them to ours. But sometimes the only way to get a bully's attention is to hit right back. If I continue I will be accused of incitement, so I'll stop here.
