So, pretty much the Democrat party's wet dream
Not to mention the comedians:
CHENEY ACCIDENTALLY SHOOTS MAN DURING HUNTING TRIP

The man, Harry Whittington, 78, is now '"alert and doing fine' after Cheney sprayed Whittington with shotgun pellets on Saturday at the Armstrong Ranch in south Texas."
Ahoy the fascist jokes. And the execution jokes. Especially because it happened in Texas. And the comments about target practice.
Update: Not to mention the dread Halliburton connection!
How could we have overlooked that! And if that doesn't show that something nefarious was behind this then...
Update II: JPOD offers advice at the Corner about what Cheney should do.

Comments
The appropriate response is regret that the accident occurred and wishes for the victim's speedy recovery. Anything else is obscene.
Count on comments like, "Too bad it didn't give Cheney a heart attack," "Too bad Cheney didn't shoot himself," etc.
This reminds me of Wm. Safire's comment on the Dean Scream that he "machine-gunned himself in the foot" with it. No way this accident will be spun for as much damage as that was.

We didn't see the man for the good part of three years because the administration was concerned about security.
Apparently the Secret Service isn't all that worried about letting the old man witha heart condition play with guns...

As if it were the SS's responsibility to "let" people hunt. Only in a socialist's wet dream...
(Yeah, my moniker's to incite soft-headed socialists...)

You know, you're right. The poor decision should be attributed to Cheney.
I must have let my love for big government get the best of me there.
