About Kesher Talk

  • "Kesher" means "connection" in Hebrew. The banner image is the mosaic floor of a 6th c. synagogue in Jericho, showing a menorah flanked by a shofar and lulav; the inscription reads "Shalom Al Yisrael." (This synagogue was destroyed by Arab vandals a few years ago. The condition of the mosaic floor is unknown.)

Supporting Denmark in Toronto

intolerance_468.gif

Some photos from Toronto's Solidarity with Denmark rally yesterday. So lessee . . . Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, and now Toronto. And there's a big march planned for London next week. Each rally gets a bit more mainstream press. Here are more photos from the organizer:

If you wondered what Winds of Change founder Joe Katzman looks like, here's he is:

The NYC rally was criticized for its excessive whiteness, but this rally brought out Iranians and Copts, experts on Islamist oppression:

Joe says some Harry's Place readers also turned out. Harry's Place was also instrumental in providing anti-Galloway flyers for the Hitchens-Galloway debate in NYC.

Three friends and I turned out for the Toronto gathering and we're glad we did. RE: the Iranian representation -- they were from the Workers' Communist Party and, naturally, used the occasion to lay pretenses to being champions of free speech and handed out propaganda defending Iran's nuclear project. One indignant man, a Romanian, castigated them for being there to hand out propaganda.

I find it rather illuminating how you support freedom of speech for this new anti muslim "or whatever politically correct moniker YOU WILL SLITHER FORTH"
But I am sure you and those suffering from your condition, WERE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND DURING THE ILLEGAL IMPRISIONMENT AND EXTRADITION OF ZUNDEL!

Myself I was defending freedom of speech ,demonized on the television and called a hate monger....not a freedom of speech activist.

But I am sure thats different......
