One more fake soldier
Yesterday the scuttlebutt was about whether Jesse MacBeth had lied about his special training, awards and rank. Today comes the news that Jesse MacBeth was never in the army at all, joining Micah Wright in the pantheon of fake soldiers with a political agenda.
From Mudville Gazette comments: "I actually swung by DU to check out their reaction. They're arguing over whether this guys is a deliberate plant to "destroy the credibility of the anti-war movement." Sent by Karl Rove, no doubt.
You would think the record of service would be an easy thing to check before you make a movie about the guy and set up speaking tours for him and set yourselves up to be made total fools of in public.
