News From the Near Future: Enthusiasm Grows for Mass Pali Reversion to Judaism

July 15, 2006: The steady conversion of Palestinians to Judaism, discussed earlier on Kesher Talk, continues to accelerate as more and more Palestinians get in touch with their inner "Yiddishe kup" and revert back to their ancient faith.

Evidence of the movement, which promises to change the dynamics of the MIddle East and baffle moonbats everywhere, became more obvious lately as the catastrophic implications of the Hamas election victory sank in. For example:

1. Palestinians sought to return to their Jewish homeland in a clever way, pretending to be criminals so they could get into the Israeli criminal justice system and take advantage of educational and religious opportunities. The approach gets them into the Promised Land without arousing the suspicions of Hamas. One Paleo-Jew, who now goes by the name Feivel, said, "Good-bye Hamas, hello hummus!"

2. Starting in the spring, thousands of Palestinians have stopped attended mosque services, according to this article from the Jerusalem Post. While they supposedly moved the prayers outside, in fact the outdoor llocation enables Chabad rabbis to conduct Jewish beginners services for the Palestinians without raising the suspicions of Hamas religious enforcers. Said one Paleo-Jew, who now calls himself Fievel al-Jafar, "I like praying outside. It reminds me of the way the Jews prayed at Mt. Sinai. I'm down with it."

As noted in KT's July 4 report, reversions are proceeding smoothly in DP Camp Gaza and elsewhere. In addition to religion, the Paleo-Jews are adopting well to other elements of Jewish life. JDate, for example, reports a sharp increase in memberships from Gaza and the West Bank. One woman, saying her new name is Fruma-Liebe speaking while a friend took profile pictures of her in a Gottex swimsuit by the Dead Sea, said, "Forget the West Bank. I'm angling for the Upper West Side. If not that, Boca."
