That's My France! Black Wackos Run Amok in Jewish Quarter, Flics Shrug, Jews Cower
This disturbing story out of Paris combines anti-semitic violence, Jewish passivity, and a Gaullic shrug of the shoulders by French flics, with a flicker of concern from French Minister Nicolas Sarkozy. Read it all; these excerpts set the depressing scene:
On the last Sunday of May, 30 angry black men stormed into the heart of the old Jewish quarter, terrorizing residents, shopkeepers, and Sunday strollers. The self-styled militia of the Ka Tribe, a black separatist group originally connected to the no-longer funny black comic Dieudonné M’Bala M’Bala, embodied the worst fears of a Jewish community exposed, since January 2006, to a new rise in anti-Semitic attacks.Eyewitnesses concur about the incursion: 30 men in paramilitary formation stormed into rue des Rosiers, shouting threats and insults against Jews. Some wore boxer’s mouthpieces and leather gloves with brass knuckles. They burned with anger and itched for a fight. Frantic calls to the police met with laconic replies: “Yes, we have been informed.”
Men, women, and children felt totally defenseless, delivered up to a storm of uncontrollable rage. Some witnesses report seeing baseball bats, sticks, knives; others suspected their presence under thick black jackets; all believed that these men were capable of committing a massacre. The police did not come until the militia had left. They did collar some members of the group later, close to their Belleville headquarters; they questioned and released them.
"Totally defenseless" -- have we learned nothing? Isn't there a Jewish version of the Texas law enforcement slogan, "One riot, one Ranger"? Scroll down the page to find the explanation.

Outside the ORT school, where the minister met with residents, a dapper gray-haired shop owner said, with dignified regret, “It’s over for Jews in France.” And added, “The police told me . . . they said it’s over for us . . . they can’t handle this problem. . . . It’s too late.”
The only good news out of this is that it's also over for France. And the French know it.

The cops in French Belleville doesn't resemble New Jersey Belleville cops in the least.
I saw the French action movie, District B13 last night. It was an ok action movie with more acrobatics than I expected but the odd part was, the movie showed a lot more contempt towards the uncaring 'flics' than it did towards the bad guys.
I wonder if the French are getting tired of their gallic-shrugging police force.
Well lets hope the Jews of France are getting guns from Eastern Europe like the criminals in the UK in places like Gunchester and Brixton.

It isn't likely to do much good, but someone might mention to the French that historically countries that have driven out their Jews have not profited thereby.
I wish I could remember who said this: Europe used to have a minority that was generally creative, law-abiding, and hard working. Now it has the minority it deserves.

June 9, 2006 -- The Queens chapter of an international jihadist group - founded by the Brooklyn College grad accused of being an al Qaeda sympathizer - is terrorizing people in the extremist's old stomping grounds, residents said yesterday.
"They have a lot of hatred [but] the police said they can't do anything about them," Kana Chauhan, president of the Jackson Heights Merchants Association, said of the radical group Al Muhajiroun.
