Foxman calls for hate-crime probe on Mel Gibson
Mad Mel update. Via Jewlicious:
As it says in the Talmud: nichnas yayin, yotzie sod (Lit. in goes wine and out come secrets.)
But this is silly. I generally think Foxman is a good guy and most of his targets have been deserving, but investigating Gibson for hate crimes is just over the top. Let's pick our battles, okay?

Does Foxman understand that we go after hate speech the old testament will be fair game?

Mel gibson is an actor and entertainer.
He was acting and entertaining under the influence that incident.
Like most actors and entertainers in Hollywood these days he is also an idiot with a big mouth and no brains who thinks he is much more than he really is.
The more fuss raised over this the more of a celebrity he becomes and the more attention he gets.

Abe Foxman is past his sell-by date.
Mel Gibson's danger to the Jews is approximately zero. The danger of Islamic extremism, on the other hand, is high. We need a little more vigilance on that side, and I don't detect it from Mr. Foxman.

Foxman is a moron. I'm not giving the ADL another dime until he resigns or gets a brain transplant.
With everything going on in the world today, the ADL should have far bigger things to do than drunk Mel f'n Gibson. The ADL's been doing such a bang-up job of late, world events condsidered, maybe this makes sense because it's all they're capable of.

Oh for god's sake. Someone tell Foxman to shut the hell up. Does he know speech, particularly drunken idiotic speech, isn't a crime in this country?
Well, we can expect this quote to be shoved back in our faces a million and three times.

Mel Gibson is an advertisement for stupidity.
He has done the usual pennance. He is hiding out in a rehab clinic. Unavailable for comment.

Mel Gibson was drunk when he made his foolish comments. What’s Abe Foxman’s excuse?
