I have seen nothing online about the anniversary of August 12, 1952, when Joseph Stalin had murdered 13 of the greatest Yiddish poets of the Soviet Union, in the Lubyanka prison.
Joshua Rubenstein documented the crime and its context in his 1997 book "Stalin's Secret Pogrom: The Post-War Inquisition of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee." Details from it can be found here.
In every generation they rise up to destroy us. Yet we still survive.
