I came here for an argument
My apologies for not approving comments very quickly today. I had to be (gasp!) away from my computer for, well, hours! (But the nervous dental student finally got good impressions for two crowns, and my hair is slightly more auburn than it was this morning.)
The paucity of comments at this blog always disappointed me, so I'm really enjoying all the discussion (cue Monty Python routine). FYI I don't have a banning policy. I've only banned three people in four years of blogging. Looking back, what they all had in common was making the same boring provocative comments over the course of several posts, without actually responding to my replies to them. IOW it wasn't a conversation, it was just needling or haranguing, and it got tiresome. I don't think I would ever ban someone for a particular POV or opinion. Unless they kept repeating it over and over to be annoying, in which case it moves into the category I just described.
I guess I should put a caveat in each post along the lines of "management is not responsible for any opinions expressed other than my own."
