Good News for '24' Fanatics: Season 6 Trailer Coming
If the year has two seasons for you -- '24' season and the rest of the year -- then the first signs of changing weather are coming. On Tuesday, Fox will broadcast a trailer for season six, online and during the World Series.
When we last left Jewish terrorist-battler Yaacov "Jack" Bauer, he was
bound and tortured, on a ship heading to China. He is now the tipping point for U.S. international relations.
Sounds intense! The trailer will certainly rachet up my tension as 24 approaches. How can I manage it? The new season starts on January 14. Until then, '24' fans will just have to make do with Yankees-Mets Subway Series . . . .
What, you mean the Yankees and the Mets are NOT playing in the World Series? So that's what's happening in the non-24 season. Well, faith and begorrah.

Hailing from the Bronx, I usually heard "faith and begorrah" as "faith and ghonerreah." Well, not actually, but we yelled it at our Irish "friends." It was a small measure of payback for some of the Irish kids yelling "Christ killer" at us.
As for a New York team not being in the World Series, some things are just not right with the world.
Since I'm first and foremost a Yankees fan, I wouldn't be unhappy to see Detroit win, thereby proving, yet again, the inherent superiority of the American League...
