Up Next: Nutmeg Daughters of the Confederacy for Lamont
Trapped between a rock and a soft place (the Dynamic Diaspora Duo of Joe Lieberman and Alan Schlesinger), Ned Lamont is getting serious about connecting with non-Democrats. The proof is below:
Lamont's outreach comes as polls show his campaign drooping like wet laundry behind Lieberman.

Love the bumper sticker.
Salon is running a story today about Schlesinger's role in the Connecticut senatorial race, with this as its subhed:
Angered by the national GOP's support for Joe Lieberman, the real Republican in the Connecticut Senate race goes on the attack.
Who knew Salon would get that persnickety about "real" vs. "fake" Republicans -- and that they'd take up the cudgel for a "real" one? Not me.
Maybe a "White Liberal MSM Hacks For Schlesinger" bumper sticker is needed.

The MSM always loves to dig up disaffected Republiccans in the forlorn hope that the Libs are winning new converts.
