About Kesher Talk

  • "Kesher" means "connection" in Hebrew. The banner image is the mosaic floor of a 6th c. synagogue in Jericho, showing a menorah flanked by a shofar and lulav; the inscription reads "Shalom Al Yisrael." (This synagogue was destroyed by Arab vandals a few years ago. The condition of the mosaic floor is unknown.)

Now I understand the Kerry joke . . .

Jim Treacher explains it all to you:

Did it ever occur to you wingnuts that Kerry might have meant Saddam Hussein?

If Hussein had just stayed in school, he wouldn't have become a genocidal tyrant and gotten stuck in Iraq

First, dont call me a wingnut. Second, no, there is no question he was talking about president bush. People arent stuck in their home country. I dont think anyone, even hussein himself would say that he was stuck in iraq. Bush however, is 'stuck' in iraq.
