Evening at the Akko Harbor
I'm going to put up the conference videos with Video Egg. In YouTube there is no way to make a video just available to whoever reads your blog. Either it's out there for anyone to access at YouTube, or you have to invite individuals to view it. At this point you can't share videos across Video Egg, but you can publish them on your website, so the software basically acts like a free turnkey method for posting a flash video with controls.
Meanwhile, here's a panorama of Akko Marina, filmed two weeks ago on my Canon Powershot S2 IS, which can shoot video in several formats and frame sizes and fps, up to 1 GB.
PS If you know how to blur or pixelate something when editing a video, please tell me. But I only have QuickTime Pro.

Cool video!
Love the music too.
In Israel and Lebanon, whenever I would get into a taxi, it seemed like the same song was playing everytime - the lyrics were 'oh habibbi, oh habibbi) over and over and over again. It must have been a big hit to be so omnipresent.

Love the music too. - (the mixing of the calls to prayer with the rock music)

I think "oh habbibi" is the Middle East pop version of "baby baby baby" or similar Western rock lyric sentiments, so it would be in every pop song.
I also liked the Charles Ives-ish melodic counterpoint, I'm glad that came across.

I've had a request for some books to be sent to Akko. This makes me feel closer to the recepients, thanks!

For video editing for the non-professional Zwei-Stein is probably best, but I can not figure out version 4... can't find their link to version 3.x which, at least, had a low memory foot-print. Also note their conversion utilities and other goodness. Free for personal, non-commercial use! Amazing stuff...
If I remember correctly you can designate a pixelated area for a number of frames and shift that if your target shifts. Not automagic, like high end, but for simple clips it should not be much of a hassle.

Alas, it appears to not have a Mac version....
