Kesher Talk: We never stop working for you
I just went through 6 weeks of comments and put more new commenters into the email whitelister. So fewer of you will be snagged by the spam filter and you won't have to wait for me to approve your comments.
Yeah, I know it's 6 in the morning. I get on these all night jags sometimes.....
And the title refers to the fact that I am due for a cell-phone upgrade and have spent a week trying to figure out which one I want. After perusing reviews on Amazon, Phonescoop, and C|Net, all I know is that they all have problems, but some have more problems than others. I think the other carriers have better phones, but Verizon does get better reception.
I'm trying really hard to not buy the Treo, even though I can get it for $200. I don't need a Treo.
UPDATE: The Google Ads on the right sidebar (which never make me any money whatsoever) just returned Torah Ringtones and Jewish Ringtones. That's too silly.

I've always been happy with Verizon's service. I liked the Samsung phones but based on a lot of research got a Motorola last summer when I was due for a new one. It's OK but I'll get Samsung the next time -- they work better in a tactile sense.

Same situation for me...overdue for a Verizon phone upgrade (my current phone's battery is just about shot). The links above look to be reall helpful. as I'm honestly not sure what to get either.

The user reviews are very helpful, but no one phone stands out. They all have features I don't need, but with a $100 bonus I might as well get, so then I have to see if they are any good (like cameras or music players).
I wish the iPhone v.2 was already on the market with the bugs fixed.

Yep, me too. I'm holding out for an apple phone.

I have to say that I'm in love with my Blackberry Pearl. I can't speak to the voice quality (the BB is for work, so I carry a personal mobile phone and it) cause I don't get calls on it--or I do rarely. But the smartphone stuff--camera, browser, email... LOVE IT!

When I think about getting the Treo, I think do I really want to hold this thing up to my ear? Or walk around town with one of those dorky headsets? Because it would be my phone. Also I'd need a $80/mo. data/voice plan to go with it. I'm very tempted but I can't justify it.
The iPhone won't be ready till June and I don't think the kinks will be worked out till 2008. :-(

Well, apple iphones will get cheaper in 2008. So everyone who jumps right in will gnash their teeth at the new improved cheaper model.
