Listen to the general
If you agree with General Petraeus that sending more troops specifically to pacify Baghdad is a good idea, please inform your Republican congresspersons that you will not be happy with them if they do not agree that it is a good idea. You can sign a petition to that effect, here.
Why no similar petition for Democratic lawmakers? You have to ask?

If only I had a republican congressperson to threaten with my wrath!!!! The only thing they care about is winning the presidency in 2008.
I don't think the band of ijits I have representing me would be in the leastl impressed.
