"Digital Night" at "End Israeli Apartheid Week" in NYC
Kesher Talk friend Pamela Hall continues to infiltrate "End Israel Apartheid Week in NYC, along with representatives from Stand With Us and the David Project.
Part one.
Part two. (includes downloadable flyers from Stand With Us and the David Project)
Part four.
Part five.
Tuesday Night - Day 4 of National Apartheid Week-USA. Digital Night.
The films that were shown the first evening were of such poor quality, how could they TOP that... But...curiosity got the better of me and there I was...last night...amongst our friends from The David Project and Stand With Us. We met a few doors East of Judson Church, An NYU Building since a rock concert was happening in the Church. We outnumbered the crowd for a while, til after a 20 minute wait when we got approximately 60 people in the room, the program began. (We brought about 25 people, I think.)
As usual we spread out in the room, pamphlets and flyers at the ready. One of ours sat on the aisle and casually handed the Stand With Us flyer to everyone who walked in. Once again: Smooth. Reactions are fun to watch when you see the Lefties realize what they've been handed.
This presentation is a propaganda tool that is already being used in our schools. The two female docu-makers want people to see these interviews so can get to know these children ...these Palestinian kids better. They're just nice, sweet kids. However, try to ask about the suffering and murder of Israeli children - Nope. That's not the topic this evening.
Also, this film was NOT to be thought of as a part of the APARTHEID theme. We were lectured...that topic was off-limits last night. These are poor "Palistinian" kids living and suffering through no fault of their own. Our subject this evening is supposedly just these homeless kids; longing for a future in a FREE Palestine. (no adults were ever mentioned) Just these kids who are caught in a situation not of their making; (they're just kids, after all) What are you supposed to do with that? Say you have no sympathy for the children?
The film-makers claim they just turned on the camera and let the kids talk. When asked how do the film-makers feel about how these Pali-kids are taught to hate the Jews; to simply HATE the Jews. Nope. Not allowed. One of our David's Project people tried twice to get an answer to that one as did Dani from Stand With Us the night before. (That's an off-limits question.) They would not influence the children. If the children don't mention violence in Israel...if they are unaware of it... don't bring it up...NOT relevant to them. (Remember, Israel's to blame anyway.)
We had a confrontation over filming the event. The Leftists taped everything all the other nights, so one of ours had a camera last night. There was a lawyer present who said no restrictions; that she could film the event. Someone else said we all have to give permission. (I was never asked by the Left) This game of Yes and No actually went on for awhile. It was fun to watch our side. So cool. So calm. And the Lefties lost it. (They are slow to catch on sometimes...) She turned the camera off only after she tortured them by keeping the camera on throughout all of this. Finally, someone said our people should be removed for causing a disruption so the camera was turned off. (She did-good)
Alot of people in the audience sweetly told us they are teachers (well...some were Hip-Hop teachers...)and how valuable this evening was to them. There was a booklet of letters from high-school students saying how much this film meant to them... They never knew how awful things are for these Pali-kids. The news-media doesn't tell you the Palestinian side... One letter from a Jewish kid said it opened his eyes to the truth...AND, We were told a quote from some kids in Bushwick who still "suffer from American racism." They said " Wow, they've got it WORSE than we do!"
This is being done in our schools! Our PUBLIC schools. Their itinerary is: Detroit (Dearborn); Bushwick (NY)-South Central and the Bay Area......Too obvious, isn't it...
Here's the clincher: you don't just watch what appears to be a short film. Even though we didn't see all of it, I'm pretty sure it's not a long film. Part 1: "PLANET OF THE ARABS". You have to watch "PLANET OF THE ARABS" (FIRST) BEFORE you see the Pali-kids interviews. This wretched assault was filled with every TV and Hollywood cut they could find that shows Muslims/Arabs treated unfairly as villians. Where are the nice Arabs, they want the children to ask. (My seat-mate passed me a note. Of course! The Jews control Hollywood, so why would we see anything nice about the Muslim/Arab world)
Real tragedies: cuts from the terrorists charging down the aisle in the 9-11 film; a cut from the Entebbe film and Exodus were mixed with satire and fictional cuts.I was so angered by this film. It's being shown to high school students without explanation! (You don't want to influence their answers. Remember) So NEVER was there any attempt to say ...just MAYBE...there were some very real reasons that the films, based on REAL tragedies, had ARAB-MUSLIMS as the villians. (I asked. But...Nope. Not allowed...)
The Pali-kid interviews were colourless (except for the boy who wanted us to know he was shot by Israeli soldiers while playing on his balcony.) Those soldiers just shot him for being on his balcony. Period. I asked a young woman from 'Seeds of Peace' if she thought there was more to this story; maybe it was an accidental shooting. I asked about the children being murdered in Israel. She had the typical response: "Does not compute. Does not..."
She told me she's a Messianic Jew (I don't believe her) AND when I asked about the "Palestinians" determination to wipe Israel off the map (push it into the sea) she tried to tell me either I was quoting falsehoods:ne lies...or that I need to remember there are two sides...STOP! Someone has GOT to STOP these people. They are taking this propaganda into OUR public schools!
Everything I presented to this "Seeds of Peace" rep (Laura): In 1948... Instant and never ending attacks on Israel... Who made these people refugees? HUH? How about the UN... No map of Israel AT the UN...(that's a clue, don't you think?)) Arafat and the creation of "Palestine"). She looked at me like I was from Mars. Not in her reality. (And she says she's a Jew.)
[Judith says: Of course she's a Jew - see here. (PDF) Adam Shapiro of ISM fame used to run the "Seeds of Peace" summer camp where Jewish and Palestinian kids become fast friends and all go off to support the Palestinian cause.]

Great links, Judith. Thanks
Some additional observations:
I forgot to mention the collection Monday and Tueasday nights as well as something I rermembered about Tuesday: The manipulative way they tried to control us by getting us to talk first; reveal our personal prejudices in all of the talk-backs....I loved the dead-silence each time . They probably get lots of participation from audiences of their compatriots. But, we stonewalled them. Loved watching them struggele to fill the time. (Must have been more of us in the room than I thought)
The Collection 'Plate'-
Monday night: Pass-the-hat collection was a grey FEZ! (cute)
Tuesday night: a baseball cap.
(But, Saturday was a bucket!)
So...bucket, fez...ballcap....
Seems as though the collections are getting smaller....and smaller...
