Utah Shooter: Religion of Peace?
Killer identified as 18-year-old Sulejmen Talovic
"Police have no motive in the killing."
Does that mean he's Muslim?
UPDATE from Judith: Via LGF, FWIW:
The manager where i work is a native Serb, and he testifies that he is beyond a doubt a Bosnian muslim. here is our exchange: Me: Question for you: What origin would the name Talovic be of? He is bosnian. Manager: Could be Serbian as well as Croat as well Muslim. First name reviles more. Me: Sulejman. Manager: Beyond a doubt, Bosnian Muslim for sure."Sulejman" is a Muslim name, taken from the Muslim conqueror of the Balkans, Suleiman the Magnificent. No non-Muslim Bosnian would name their child "Sulejman" any more than a Jew would name their child "Hitler Goldberg."

I'm not sure if he's Muslim, though many Bosnians are. You can be certain of one thing, though: If he is Muslim, there will be a conspicuous lack of curiousity amongst law enforcement and the media as to his motive.

Just asserting his rights under the Second Amendment: it's the American way.

The quote below is from a fellow protestor on the first night of the Israel Apartheid Week. A discussion he had outside Hunter, Saturday night. (BEFORE ! this tragedy)
"What a coincidence; on Saturday night, outside of Hunter, [we]got into a conversation with a young Bosnian Muslim who related that so many of his people were starting to adopt Wahabism from the Saudi sponsored Madrasahs that were sprouting up all over his country. " Well...I guess we can also assume:" THERE HERE!!"

An interesting thing happens when I hear Bosnia in connection with violence... I think: Iran. But that is just me remembering the failed policies of a decade past.
