Sex Toys of Doom: Links Now Available
The many hundreds of KT readers who felt a burning sense of anxiety at not being able to read Tristan Taormino's two-part expose in the Village Voice called "Dangerous Dildos" can relax.
Since KT first reported on her shocking report, the Voice website has returned to normal operation and both articles can be found in their taut, informative glory:
Part 1, wherein Tristan gets to the bottom of the problem, so to speak.
Part 2, where Tristan talks up groups doing something to scratch the itch of the problem of phthalates.
She does not, alas, address the question of what this means for the Jews.
Read them both, and share them with someone you care about, or several someones, as the case may be.

Studies on rodents are all very well, but when did you last see a gerbil using a dildo? (Note for Van: this is a rhetorical question and I really don't want to know.)
Though it occurs to me that there may be a bunch of breeding bulls, stallions etc out there who (not, one guesses, from choice) make regular use of rubber females. Their point of view isn't addressed either. So never mind the Jews, what does it mean for the Arabs (equine, that is)?
