About Kesher Talk

  • "Kesher" means "connection" in Hebrew. The banner image is the mosaic floor of a 6th c. synagogue in Jericho, showing a menorah flanked by a shofar and lulav; the inscription reads "Shalom Al Yisrael." (This synagogue was destroyed by Arab vandals a few years ago. The condition of the mosaic floor is unknown.)

Kesher Talk: we never stop working for you

You may have noticed all the recent Amazon links - we enjoy finding books and media which are relevant to our posts, and we hope you enjoy the convenience and maybe some pleasant and unexpected discoveries.

I also went back and added book and CD links to my posts about the High Holidays last September. If you remember, every day from Rosh Chodesh Ellul up through Simchat Torah (that's 52 days!) I posted some spiritual teachings or information about the holidays together with some appropriate music and art. You can browse these posts via the Yamim Noraim category, and lots of delicious Jewish music awaits you.
