A Belvidere couple in a black Ford pickup truck was stopped in traffic when approximately 10 people surrounded the truck, police said. One of the individuals, Abraham Greenhouse, 29, of Boonton, threw steel cylinders and shattered the rear window of the truck, police said. . . .

Jonathan Harvey, 26, of Brooklyn kicked the driver in the groin and Andrew Flowers, 37, of Connecticut struck the man repeatedly with his fists, police said.

 
Greenhouse, along with communist Charlotte Kates, was involved in the notorious anti-Israel hate rally that got booted off the Rutgers campus a couple of years back.  He also threw a pie in Natan Sharansky's face about 4 years ago and was suspended from Rutgers and found guilty of a disorderly persons offense.
 
The cowardly SOB also put a note reading “END THE MOTHERF*CKIN' OCCUPATION!!!” in the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
 
I hope the judge and victim know that Greenhouse has a history of violence and sociopathic behavior and that his sentence reflects that knowledge.

UPDATE: I got another email about a well-known Neo-Nazi site, Storm Front, claiming the couple who were assaulted as members:

I just got back from the Morristown rally. It was good to see so many fine people waking up to the third world invasion of our country. It was also sometimes entertaining, though mostly pathetic, to see the collection of communists (complete with communist flags), anarchists, homosexuals, lesbians, feminists, "anti-racists" and assorted specimens of indeterminate race that comprised the opposition. . . .

It was good to fellowship with former National Vanguard members Jack Boot, Rich Lindstrom, Erick_K_W, and Galvani. . . .

While I was typing the above I just now got a phone call from Rich Lindstrom. Rich informs me that Erick_K_W and his wife were dragged from their truck after leaving the rally and severely beaten by a mob of antis. They were hurt but are alive. The truck was heavily damaged and looted. Police arrived and arrested at least 4 antis with more arrests probably to be made soon. An elderly person tried to intervene and was also severely beaten.

I have been agnostic on the immigration issue because - as a first-generation American - I find nativism repellent, contrary to American values, and not good for the country. At the same time, it isn't fair to people trying to immigrate legally and putting up with the bullshit we put them through, to look the other way for illegals. I thought the President's bill was a good-faith attempt to find a middle ground.

Anyway, neo-Nazis still don't deserve to be beaten up when they are making a peaceful protest, although their participation in this movement is as problematic as the participation of A.N.S.W.E.R. in antiwar protests. Is the anti-illegal-immigration movement trying to purge these folks at all?

After the July 28, 2007 anti-immigrant rally in Morristown, NJ, two neo-Nazis attacked antifascists behind town hall. The neo-Nazis, 40-year old Frederick K. Williams ("Erick_K_W" on Stormfront) and Annette Williams of North Bergen, NJ, jumped from their pick-up truck armed with baseball bats and knives and assaulted pro-immigrant counter-protesters. . . .

By this point, more antifas began rushing to the scene. Williams got back in his truck and tried to flee, but not before other activists blocked his Ford pick up from leaving. Moments later, police rushed in, found Williams' weapon in the back of his pickup and confiscated it.

Staying true to their fear of authority figures, the Williams' story quickly changed, telling police they were the victims of an unprovoked assault, but other witnesses at the scene and a video of the attack prove otherwise.

After initially handcuffing the bat-wielding Frederick Williams and detaining his wife Annette, police then decided to take his word for it and rounded up several anti-racists who were detained several blocks away from the incident. Although they had the bat, the knife and other evidence of the actual assault right in their hands, no action was taken by police against Frederick Williams. They then let Williams choose which activists he wanted to be arrested.. . .

The New York Times erroneously printed an article using the police report, based entirely on Williams' story of the event in direct contradiction to the statements of other witnesses and the evidence found on the scene. Where police reported ten activists targeted in the assault, less than four were involved, and no mention was made in the article of Williams' possession of the weapons. . . .

There's lots more. The question is: who ya gonna believe, Storm Front or Antifa? What a choice. This sounds more like internecine gang warfare within the Moronic Convergence than respectable rallies.

For contrast, see the Cindy Sheehan videos we just posted. Lots of name-calling, speechifying, and dumb signs, but no fisticuffs. (Or giant papier-mache puppets.) Hard to imagine any political action which would make Cindy look good by comparison, but there you have it.
