Giuliani in the hood

UPDATE: Rudy and Barack are refusing to comment. But they ought to go after Romney next, just to annoy him:

The naughty video hit the Internet on the same day GOP candidate Mitt Romney started airing a new ad fretting that American culture has become "a cesspool of violence, and sex, and drugs, and indolence, and perversions."

Romney, who is trying to keep family-values voters from defecting to upcoming candidate Fred Thompson, was slammed by some social conservatives for sitting on the Marriott board because the hotel chain offers porn in its rooms.

Allahpundit says of the trailer:

Having lived through the Rudy era in NYC and remembering the Abner Louima, Amadou Diallo, and Patrick Dorismond incidents, it seems highly nuanced that Giuliani girl is black. That’s a sly joke by the lefty producers about the mayor’s record on race relations, I suspect.

Maybe. Or maybe the producers saw this Gallup poll:

Obama's favorable/unfavorable rating among blacks is 68-8, with 16 percent saying they've never heard of him. Even if every one of those 16 percent eventually had a favorable view of him, he wouldn't surpass Sen. Clinton. Among whites, Obama is 53-31, and among Hispanics, he is 33-13 (45 percent of Hispanics say they've never heard of him.)

. . . . Among Republicans, the candidate who has the highest favorable rating among blacks is — make sure you're sitting down, New Yorkers — Rudy Giuliani. His favorable/unfavorable among blacks is 34-35, with 20 percent never having heard of him. Among whites, Giuliani is 64-27, and among Hispanics, he is 46-16, with 28 percent never having heard of him.

I like that they shot it in front of Columbus Circle, in my nabe.
