Rescuing comments from the flood
We are being flooded with junk comments and mostly I don't try to scan the junk file for real comments - it's too time-consuming. So if your comment didn't appear, that's the reason. I almost never delete comments unless someone has been annoying with no socially redeeming value for awhile. I have banned maybe 5 commenters in the 5 years this blog has been around.
One way to ensure that your comment will appear is to register with TypeKey. Or you can email me your comment and alert me that it didn't appear, and I'll add your email to the whitelist so you don't get junked in the future.
