About Kesher Talk

  • "Kesher" means "connection" in Hebrew. The banner image is the mosaic floor of a 6th c. synagogue in Jericho, showing a menorah flanked by a shofar and lulav; the inscription reads "Shalom Al Yisrael." (This synagogue was destroyed by Arab vandals a few years ago. The condition of the mosaic floor is unknown.)

Distracting the Terrorists, Part 3: Those Irresistable Israeli MILFs

No sooner had I written about American MILF commandos smashing terrorists than evidence pops up that fans of sophisticated male entertainment in Arab lands have a outright obsession with Israeli pornography that specializes in female action characters. This story in ANSAmed says,

Up to 10% of the daily contacts of the porn portals in Hebrew come from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iraq. Some owners have decided to rise the wave of success opening an Arabic version on the websites and registering in this way an immediate surge of the 'clicks'. Others, like Nir Shahar [manager of some hot Israeli sites], believe the expense for translation is needless: "The videos and photos we offer do not need much explanation," he says. There is a real passion spreading among the Islamic users: that for the hard Israeli videos in which the actresses interpret, in their way naturally, the role of female soldiers, secret agents or policewomen.

The Arab fanboys are, of course, just your average Joes looking for some kicks. That's understandable; a short and direct line connects sexual repression to sexual obsession, and then to the unstoppable erotic appeal of Yiddishe MILFs and maideles. Just wait until they discover the American Jewish contingent, with the suave talents of Ron Jeremy and Nina Hartley.

I'm waiting for these guys to take the next logical step and post profiles on JDate. Given all the women who suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome there (believe me, I know) on JDate, I'm sure they'll find some warmly sympathetic contacts. "You hate Bush? Hey, I hate Bush, too!"

Better yet, given their interest in Jewish action gals, perhaps the Middle Eastern fanboys should skip JDate and go directly to our old pals at Kinky Jews, who span the world with good clean fun for bad boys.

MEANWHILE, over at Little Green Footballs, folks are having a grand time tonight analyzing Slate's homoerotic photos of the Taliban, a/k/a Brokeback Taliban.

The Economist magazine -- anti-semitic or not?
Last Edition looks like Nazi propaganda.

http://www.economist.com/world/displaystory.cfm?story_id=9682621

¨In fact, the KGB was cut off from the post-Soviet redistribution of assets. Worse still, it was upstaged and outwitted by a tiny group of opportunists, many of them Jews (not a people beloved by the KGB), who became known as the oligarchs. Between them, they grabbed most of the country's natural resources and other privatised assets. KGB officers watched the oligarchs get super-rich while they stayed cash-strapped and sometimes even unpaid.¨

What is anti-semitic about that? Or untrue? Nazi propaganda? How?
